CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN

The thought that someone had been undergoing molestation in his home really put Kevin off momentarily as he set aside everything to get this sorted out. In his opinion, no one deserved to be treated as a sport or made fun of by another. It simply did not make any sense to him and he sure as hell would want to make Jonah pay for his crimes.

He walked away from her bedroom and returned to go find his phone only to meet Vanessa fully awake and was dressing up. She had a stern look on her face.

"Where were you?" She demanded angrily.

"I went out for a little air." He said to her. "Going already?"

"Yes. I guess I am but we would see each other this evening if I am not mistaken." She said to him, so sure of herself.

Kevin could not understand the reason for her new found morale but he had to admit he was proud of her. However, now he was standing before her would be enough time to find out from her what had gone down between the both of them.

"Vanessa, I was hoping to ask. Did we?" He asked
