CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN

Kevin turned to his side as he noticed Vanessa that morning on his bed. It was still so early yet he could not help but notice how exhausted he seemed to be. The most confusing thing was the fact that they were both naked but he could not remember when anything had gone down between the both of them. Perhaps, something had happened and he was too drunk to notice.

He would have stuck to the last option until his eyes fell on the glass on the table. He recalled how he had begun to feel drowsy after he had drank from it. Certainly, it must have been drugged but how and who?

Vanessa had been with him outside having dinner and had not gone inside until he had slept off. Something strange must have happened. Kevin realized then that she could have given the drink to one of the servants but they had no right to serve him wine from a stranger.

Kevin made his way downstairs, clutching his phone and wearing his bathrobe. It was a little into daylight when he did and then, he saw the first maid.
