CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY

He had no one else to call and nothing else to do but to resort to calling her. It was the only way be could lighten the guilt in his heart. Kevin had spoken with Allen but the latter too had affirmed that Vanessa had not been brought into the area but he had decided to help him check with the receptionist and was told that there had not been such a case as his own where a young woman would hurt herself. It felt substantially weird for him but he had to take Allen for his words and give it up.

The former was advising that he let things be as they were and try looking over the fact that he was troubled over the girl.

"Shit happens, man. If she attempted suicide, I hardly see how it's your fault." Allen had said to him.

"I did that to her. It is all my fault." Kevin responded.

"Man, you have to let some things such as this go. The deed has been done already. You cannot undo the past and we both know that but what you can do is try fix yourself." Allen said to him.
