CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

His mind was doing a long race as he tried to think of a way to wriggle himself out of the situation. His eyes glanced around and he could not figure out what to do exactly. Suddenly, a bright idea crossed his mind that just might be his way out and he put it into work.

"I don't know what you want, Mickey." He stated mustering up a little bit of boldness.

"And there's the not so fun Kevin. Could you switch back to the old Kevin? He seems to understand the situation better." He said to Kevin.

"Old Kevin? New Kevin? What are you even talking about?" Kevin asked him.

Mickey was not one that enjoyed his patience being tried. He suddenly grabbed Kevin by the back collar until the front of his shirt rode around his neck tightly. The pressure was suffocating and Kevin tried to gasp for air. The other guys that sat around made certain that no one save for the other students could notice as they huddled around and now was time to set his plan in motion as he looked at them.
