CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

Class was not going down well with him as it would seem like the entire world was put on slow motion. This would have to pass out as the longest day in the history of mankind for Kevin as he spent each time staring at the wall clock. He would occasionally find himself looking in that direction and it took him three turns to realize that the clock was at the same spot as always. His mind had been too caught up with his thoughts to notice and now he did, he could not let it go. Kevin raised his hand and the science teacher that had been blabbing away looked at his direction.

"What is it, Kevin?" She asked him.

"I think the clock is not working." He said to her.

"Oh I see. So tell me, what business is the clock in my subject area especially in a topic such as this?" She asked amidst raised eyebrow.

Kevin was embarrassed and he started sweating immediately. He looked down as he managed to speak.

"Nothing, Miss. I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking." He said to her.
