Class was not going down well with him as it would seem like the entire world was put on slow motion. This would have to pass out as the longest day in the history of mankind for Kevin as he spent each time staring at the wall clock. He would occasionally find himself looking in that direction and it took him three turns to realize that the clock was at the same spot as always. His mind had been too caught up with his thoughts to notice and now he did, he could not let it go. His mind was doing a long race as he tried to think of a way to wriggle himself out of the situation. His eyes glanced around and he could not figure out what to do exactly. Suddenly, a bright idea crossed his mind that just might be his way out and he put it into work."I don't know what you want, Mickey." He stated mustering up a little bit of boldness."And there's the not so fun Kevin. Could you switch back to the old Kevin? He seems to understand the situation better." He said to Kevin."Old Kevin? At least, they did keep their word and assisted him get out of school. Kevin was really wowed and now it was time to get to Melissa but just then, he realized something that probably would be the biggest set back he had faced in all his time on earth. Whilst he had been playing the romantic saviour to the girl, he had forgotten to get her phone number which if you ask me would make all this stress and hassles of sneaking out of school really futile. To think that he had been thrown over the school fence for this and had nearly been caught by the barbed wire. He could not think of anything else to do and time was no longer on his side. Quickly, he boarded a cab home as he could not go looking how he did now, all rumpled and ruffled thanks to his flight downwards. The next cab he flagged and he handed the man the address. It was not so far away a drive and if it had been on one of his less hasty days where he knew the address, he might have trekked to the place. It was actually a coffee shop just around the corner and Kevin was confused as to whether the old lady had pulled off a fast one on him. If Melissa had come to a coffee shop, what has that got to do with her wrecking homes or whatever she had been saying. He had actually been expecting an inn or a hotel to say the least because no way would anyone be comfortable at such a place. He decided that he would go inside and see for himself what it was that the woman had been trying to point out and also, get an opportunity to complete his task.There were two entrances and Kevin decided to enter through the one closest to him in hopes that she would not see him enter and then think that he was stalking her. She had not noticed him on time but then, it took Melissa a couple of minutes to realize that she was being followed. She had actually been walking when she noticed that someone was on her trail and she panicked. He would not get in front of her of voice but continued maintaining a distance between them. She had been of the thought that perhaps, one of the wives of the men she hung out with had set this person on her trail to deal with her and if she continued this way, he might eventually get a chance to corner her and kill her.Out of sheer fear, she started out and was walking really fast without stopping. She moved briskly and swiftly as she thought about what to do which was when the bright idea crossed her mind. Perhaps, she would confirm that this person was following her as she knew that the moment she stops somewhere, he would not continue ahead and even if he did, he would be lurking around somewhere thereby giving her the opportunity to turn around and head back the other w

"Busted." She said to him."Busted? What are you talking about?" He asked her pretending not to know in strong hopes that she would not catch onto him."Come on, I know you have been following me, Kevin. Although I cannot say where for certain had it started." Kevin had gone home straight up after he had left her place and only when he had gotten home did he realize that he had still not gotten his jacket from her. He started contemplating on whether to return to her and ask for his jacket but he was aware of the pensive situation between them and the fact that should he attempt to get back there with her, he was going to face off hell with her or be tempted to finish what he had started with her. He could not tell whether he would have enough strength to restrain himself this time around.Hence, he remained home and really uncomfortable as he needed to hear from the system that his task was completed successfully and then he would decide on what to do. He worried a great deal about her and the fact that he had left her in such a mood gave him a lot to think of. She must really hate him now and see him as a player but then, looking on the bright side of things, she had been no different. She was worse with her manipulative behavior and sob

He had gone to sleep downcast and disappointed. He could not believe that all his efforts had been to waste and that he probably had been pranked by the system. I mean, how could he still look the very same despite chosing to look good looking. Kevin was on the verge of losing it when he decided to get to bed. It was alarming how the system he ha come to trust had pulled a fast one on him after making him go through the hoops to win this particular challenge. It had been tough. Now, he was just going to be the sad guy who had a couple of dollars sitting in his bank account that would finish soon enough and whom had lost chances to be with two of the best women he had ever come across. Angrily, he turned the mirror backwards and went to bed.Early the next morning, he woke up to get ready for school as there was no point in missing out when he was still the same person he was.
