WANTED

Drake sat at the end of the bed in Kathlyn's resting room.

It's almost noon and she had remained asleep for close to eleven hours. And Drake has started to worry.

Her breathing was steady, her eyelids tightly shut, hiding her usually haughty eyes, her long lashes curve accentuated her eye area, giving her a peaceful look.

Drake had no reason in particular to worry. But he couldn't help it, she was sleeping almost too soundly.

Her breathing was balanced and patterned. She was so peaceful in her sleep, anyone would mistake her to be a peaceful person in real life also.

Drake almost laughed at the thought, he knew that Kathlyn wouldn't want to believe and accept that she was the person who was incapacitated for hours.

She took so much pride in her identity as a Khan.

Drake walked towards the door in the room, stopping at the threshold to glance at her.
