Chapter 11 - Ranga

After checking all his skills and getting some understanding of them, Shiva started moving towards the nearby police station.

In a situation where monsters were invading from god know's where, all the citizens would try to seek help from the police or at least look for firearms there.

Although the current Shiva was powerful enough to decimate a horde of goblins with the help of his skeletons, keeping a firearm on himself wouldn't hurt, so he decided to move toward the nearest station.

He knew that people will start gathering there from survival camps after some time as from the common people's point of view it was the safest place they can think of.

More than that, even if Shiva had all his skeletons there will be a limitation to what a single person could do, he may be able to survive here now but surviving in the tower will not be easy alone so, he made plans to form a group with other different abilities users, and for that he first had to scout the peoples.

what's a better place than a survivor's camp?

So he was currently moving with his small army towards there, the nearby police station was 10 miles from his current location, so he has to move for at least a day to reach there and with all the monsters holding him back, it would take at least one and half a day.

The sun was already going down and it has nearly been a day after the tutorial started.

According to the system messages, Shiva still has two more days to complete the quest.

As Shiva was walking numerous monsters tried to attack him but not a single one of them succeeded to come near him. 

The monsters were shredded to pieces even before they came anywhere near him by the skeletons surrounding him.

A large green-skinned monster which was the size of a human bodybuilder was dashing towards Shiva at full speed, but before it could, 

A skeleton that noticed the monster blocked its path standing its ground against it but the monster doesn't seem to care and dashed right at the skeleton.

Shiva immediately took out his spear and ordered all skeletons to attack it from all sides, as they were keeping it busy, a small skeleton appeared out of nowhere are backstabbed the large green monster in its head, taking its life in a single strike.

The small skeleton which appeared out of nowhere was his first summon, Ranga.

After he named the first skeleton that he summoned from a goblin monster, the system went into full swing.

What happened was...

The eyes of the goblin skeleton which were previously lit with a light blue glint started to burn in bright blue color.

The size of the goblin also increased slightly, though it was still the same midget, and it seemed like the evolution was successful as the system informed the same to him through the notifications!

and the result was the birth of an intelligent skeleton monster.

After killing the orc monster, the small skeleton returned to Shiva's side and stood guard for him.

Undead are mindless creatures! Even though it is evolved, its power is not strong enough to resist the instincts of the dead. In a battle it will sometime mindlessly charge at the enemies without caring about the damage it will take.

Shiva looked at the midget skeleton beside him with the job and checked out his own status.

He leveled up once as a result of killing the orc monster but his two other skeletons also got destroyed by the orc.

Ahiva looked at the orc and started casting his skill.

"Summon skeleton"

He summoned the monster he just killed as it stood up shedding its skin and muscle and stood by his side.

Shiva also discovered that the title effect would trigger even if it was his skeletons that got damaged, it was an important find, and he can use his skeletons as bait in the future.

After a half-day of moving forward, Shiva's level has already raised to 9 and he had changed all his skeletons to orcs. Now he seemed like a VVIP escorted by large-sized monsters.

As Shiva was moving he saw a bright red light coming from a nearby convenience store, He was sure that the light was not from a bulb or electric device since no way would illuminate this brightly, he went there to check on what was happening but there was another surprise.
