“Why?” Nicole asked, but there was no response.

Elvis and his eleven men were all staring at her, most of them chewing bubble gums. While they were not looking at her lustfully, their gazes were still threatening in their own way.

Nicole felt paralyzed. She wanted to go to the park and meet Gabe, but she couldn’t do that now.

“Why aren’t you saying anything, mister?’ Nicole still tried to ask because this was the best she could do in this situation. “I don’t why you’re here for my son when I haven’t given birth to anyone.”

“Mm?” Elvis’ expression changed. “You mean you don’t have a son?”

“Yeah. My husband died long ago before we could have children,” replied Nicole with a straight face.

“That’s why you still look so ripe,” some of Elvis’ men started snickered. “Want any help from us?”

Nicole glared at them. “Mind your words. Do you want me to call the police?”

“Police?” the men looked at each other and burst into laughter, further confusing Nicole. “Sure, lady.
