CHAPTER 164

Gabe returned home in the morning before Nicole left for the job. She was glad to see him doing okay. Since he had changed his clothes before coming, she didn’t see any blood on him. Nevertheless, she told him that she had filed a complaint to the police about the car being stolen by the Snake gang, and so he should just wait for the time being.

Gabe thought this was a good thing because if there was a complaint filed directly on the Snake gang, then they shouldn’t be able to harass his aunt blatantly, especially not after Gabe almost brought one of their six zones managed by them to ruin.

“I wasn’t expecting the police to register the complaint, Aunt. Just how did you convince them?” Gabe curiously asked her.

“Actually…” Nicole awkwardly laughed. “I called the chairman of Tuna Waves and asked for his help.”

“Oh, Russell called the police, huh…” Gabe was pleasantly surprised. “No wonder the police took some action, though I doubt they’ll actually pay a visit to the gang.”
