Though Systa suggested that dealing with Medusa as quickly as possible was necessary, she still advised Gabe to first get used to his new abilities such as the Alpha Arts and the Omega arts.

So, Gabe spent a few hours in the Woods park, training himself in the arts. Once Systa was confident enough in his skills, she gave the green signal.

[You are now ready to fight her.] Systa said. [Let’s trace her. Activate your sensory functions through alpha arts.]

Gabe had all the required information drilled into his brain. All he needed to do was execute the thoughts. He did various exercises in quick successions, and his five senses received a monstrous boost.

His sense of hearing improved so much he was able to hear even the movements of the wind, and the sound of his sweat droplet falling down through the air. He could feel the presence of the tens of thousands of ants that were roaming about in the park, and the few rats that scampered here and there.
