CHAPTER 345
Gabe was sleeping on the couch, while using Ulf as a lookout, in case someone were to attack him.

Ulf was sitting outside, playing with the ants, which walked along the lines he drew on the ground. When they finished the tasks, he dropped sugar on the ground to reward them. After eating, they lifted their front legs and thanked him. He dropped more sugar, and they took the sugar into their hideout underground.

Gabe’s mobile rang.

It was Russell calling, so he quickly answered. “Hey, is everything alright?”

“Yeah…” Russell said. “Actually, not quite.”

Gabe’s heart started beating faster. “Why? What happened?”

“Nothing serious, so calm down first,” Russell said. “The thing is, we always do a routine health check for our chefs every month, and we did it to your mom as well.”

“D-Did she get bad test results?” Gabe quickly asked. “What was wrong with her?”

“It’s the opposite, actually. Her health is quite perfect. From the count of white blood cells to her neural activity, everythin
