The preparation took two days.

The Trents had a Mercedes Benz Sprinter and a 20-seater Toyota Bus in their warehouse.

Both were so new that Adam wondered if they had used them for more than just decorations in their gigantic warehouse.

The warehouse reeked of paint.

Buckets after buckets of paint were stacked high in the warehouse.

“Too fancy for the likes of us,” Carlisle muttered as he kicked one of the paint buckets.

Adam could understand his hatred for the Troys after what happened to his brother.

Still, he chided the man to keep it down.

They had not had to face a lot of zombies on their way to the warehouse but Adam still wanted to be as careful as possible.

He went to the warehouse with Ryan and Carlisle.

He didn’t intend to make the one-eyed man feel like less of a man because of his condition.

Marriane had told him that the eye was healing nicely.

They had been able to treat it on time and there was no infection.

Though the eye was still bandaged, Carlisle seemed to be fine.
