The following day early in the morning, as usual, it was time for all to prepare and head back to solving the murders. As David was preparing himself to head out to the precinct, what he saw on the television was no good news. Their day had started on a very low pitch. Immediately his phone rang. It was Detective Jean calling. She had also seen the news and was calling David to confirm whether he had seen the same.

All the channels were reporting breaking news that morning. The Minister of internal security was reported dead after being involved in an accident while driving home from his office the previous night. These were no good news. Such a high-ranking officer in the government dying was a big blow to the Nation and very suspicious given the circumstances.
