Mark simply didn't care about Janelle. Janelle was usually a loner. Emilia spread rumors about Janelle making everyone think of her as a bad person and as a loser. Albert was watching Karina from a distance. Robert came to the party even though Karina didn't invite him. He wondered why his own daughter didn't invite him to celebrate her success.
