The countdown stops, and Lycian looks at the sales girl who runs out of the interior room, waving a receipt at Lucian. "It works!" She said, beaming with joy. She was happier than Lucian, who seemed relieved by the news.

A smirk appeared on his face. "That was close," Lucian muttered to himself. He shifted his gaze to the sales girls, who were shocked with a pale face staring at the receipt in Anna's hand.

"That's impossible!" the sales girl who accused Lucian of not owning a dollar muttered under her breath. The rest of the sales girls found their surprise clogging their throats. "That bitch why must it be her to earn that commission? It should have been me!"

"Can I use your restrooms?" Lucian asked, and Anna happily directed him.

Inside the restroom. Lucian heaves another

sigh, then remembers he has not heard Vir's voice since the countdown stop. "Vir?" Lycian called, looking at his reflection in the mirror.

"Congratulations, Master, you have completed your first tasks! You have been rewarded with 10,000 System points, and your spending limit has been upgraded." Viri said.

Lician scrolled through his state with a smile pasted on his lips. He now has a total of 19,990 system points, a bonus of 10 SP, and a spending limit of 20,000 SP. Joy bubbled through his entire body on how he had transformed from a poor student to a millionaire who had just spent his first ten million dollars.

If he had encountered the system for a few days, would Veronica still leave him for another man? How would she react if she found out he wasn't just a poor student anymore and he had a bright future?

Lucian scoffed; he was going to make her regret her decision. "Viri," I need the healing portion and also convert 100 system points to my account," Lucian said, glancing at the mirror once more.

"Right away, master," Viri replied.

Ten system points were deducted from his balance for the portion. Lucian felt a surge of energy moving through his body, and after a few seconds, he felt no pain. Lucian marvels at his appearance in the mirror; his bruises and dark circles are gone. Notification of 100 million dollars was transferred into Lucian's account, and a smile crawled up his lip as he exited the restroom with pride.

When Lucian arrived at the front desk, he saw all eight sales girls lined up, obviously waiting for him. They were stunned at how his bruises had suddenly disappeared. Was he pretending to be a poor man and had come to test their company service? Fear gripped them as they thought they all failed the test, and only the newbie passed; if this man was that rich, he could report them, and they could lose their job.

One of them quickly rushed towards Lucian. "Mister, I apologize for my behavior earlier. I didn't mean to offend you, and I hope you can please forgive me," She said, bowing her head.

Lucian glances at her before the rest of the sales girls bow their heads in unison. "I hold no grudge against any of you," he replied, walking past them. Lucian scanned the room but didn't see Anna, who had attended to him early.

"Are you looking for Anna?" The sale hurried after him. "You see, Anna is not qualified to attend to you; she is a part-time student, unlike me, who is a graduate and professional at this business," the sales lady boosted while badmouthing the only person who was kind to him.

Lucian frowns with a shake of his head. "What is the use of being a graduate when your character is as bad as a rotten egg," his eyes daggered at the sales girls. She swallowed the lump in her throat, regretting judging a book by its cover.

The sale who attended to him appeared with some documents. "Can I give you the tour now?" The girl asked with a warm smile, and Lucian nodded.

She led the way into the interior of the building where the showroom was located. Lucian marveled at the luxurious cars that grace his presence. It was his first time seeing an expensive car stored in one place.

"Here is the 3 million dollar list of cars we have," the girls said, pointing at the range of cars with a nonnegotiable label in front of it, each of them holding their glory. "Here we have the limited edition of the British brand ASTON MARTIN VICTOR. He's a one-off, unique, and the latest creation from Aston Martin's Q Advanced Operation department.

"Damn!" Lucian muttered, recalling a senior had once driven a similar car into his faculty, receiving the same admiration from both genders. The talk dragged on for weeks, and now he has the opportunity to own the same car.

Lucian's eyes marveled at the car before him but quickly moved to the next.

"The next is the HENNESSEY VENOM F5 ROADSTER, having a twin-turbo-charged 6.6-liter V8 as the coup and producing the same 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 pound-feet of torque. Hennessey estimates a top speed of over 300 miles per hour."

"Wow! How many traffic laws would I be breaking?" Lucian asked jokily, earning a laugh from the sales girl. He glided his hands through the car in admiration, moving to the next.

"The last product for 3 million dollars is the bad boy KOENISEGG JESKO," the sales girl notified, and Lucian nodded. "Apart from being the fastest car the company has made until now, it is also the most expensive. This hypercar has 1600-horsepower courtesy of the brand's ubiquitous twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine. In theory, the Jesko will be able to hit 300 miles per hour if you are a lover of speed."

"I will take this," Lucian said.

"Great choice!" the sales girl beams. "I will prepare the documents,t and they will be delivered to you in the next seven hours," she said, bowing. Lucian nodded, dropping his details and the location of his new condo. With that, he exited the building while the rest of the sales girls stared at his back regretfully.

It was still early morning, and Lucian returned to his dorm, crowded with students. The hall went silent when they noticed him, with whispers flying around. Lucian ignored them, walking with pride.

"He is pretending to be alright after being dumped by his girlfriend. It's such a pity," Lucain overheard a male voice whispering.

"I thought he was beaten pretty badly? How come his face and body have no bruises?"

"I saw the entire scene. I was sure Lucian had bruises yesterday; maybe he had surgery," the boy replied.

"Where on earth would he see such money to do facial surgery when he is poor," another voice sneered.

Lucian ignored their prying eyes, which lingered around him until he reached the door. When he tilted the doorknob, his eyes rested on the familiar figure inside his room.

"Lucian," Veronica smiled, noticing his presence.

"It wasn't locked," Veronica replied, while her eyes examined the room before they landed on Lucain's face.
