Sarah looked around the room in confusion on hearing her name. Reality was dawning on her. Had they all been pawning her without her knowledge?

"What is he talking about?" She asked Theodore with a furious glare.

"Father, you think it is wise to shout out our sins then, don't you? Go ahead then. Why don't you tell Sarah that the only reason Causey is out for her is because you promised to hand her over to him as a price." Theodore revealed.

"What??" Sarah uttered in shock.

Mrs Brown covered her face with her hands out of shame.

" Yes! And while you are at it, why don't you also tell her the real reason we are all in this broken mess with you? Why don't you tell her how you gambled all our finances on a one-chance business deal with Causey that turned out to be illegal? Why don't you tell her how you pawned off our properties, documents, bank cards, and even our Company? And when you did not have those anymore, you offered her hand in marriage to Peter Causey..."
