Chapter 163

James phone began to ring and he pressed it to his ear as he walked out of the office.

"Yes General."

"We found the car which almost ran you over the other day. Perhaps you could come over to the base and check it out." The General said over the phone.

"Yes Sir, I'll be right there." James replied. In a matter of thirty minutes, he was at the military base. Striding into the General's office, he found the Captain seated there with him.

"The man of the hour finally bothered to show up. I'll call the coast guard in." The Captain said and walked out of the office. James took the seat he had left vacant.

"I'm sorry, I ran into a bit of traffic on my way here. How did you manage to find the car? What about the driver, Sir?" James asked the General.

"This is not the way I thought the investigation would go, but, we ended up seeking eye witnesses. The CCTV on the street was damaged. We tried hacking into the satellite system to get a view of what happened but we didn't have much luck in th
