The doorbell dinged, drawing the attention of the maid. She unlocked the door and took the uniform from the drycleaner.

James was upstairs getting changed, while Sarah sat at her dressing table putting on her make up. His designed uniform had arrived, and he took it from the maid at the door.

He turned to Sarah as soon as he was done putting on his clothes. They had not spoken since their last argument.

Sarah noticed his struggle with a button. Everything accused her of what she was about to do. The silence between her screamed at her too.
