"Mr. Rizzo, what's going on?" Her voice trembled. Her heart took on a sudden tempo that made her feel something was wrong.

"It is nothing, Miss Brown. They are friends, don't worry." As soon as he said that, one of the men walked up to her and hit her across the face.
