I have to tell you something

(Present moment)

Asmodeus watched Corvius carefully as the latter walked closer. He knew better than to get the mad king angry at that time. The emptiness and the silence in the ethereal realm were even more surreal than what Asmodeus had suggested, and now that the mad king was there, it seemed like silence had taken a stand behind him.

Corvius shuddered with anger. His chest heaved up and down as he tried to keep his cool, desperately trying his best to make sure that he did not, out of anger, destroy Asmodeus at that particular moment.

"Asmodeus, were you hiding from me?" Corvius asked as he approached. Asmodeus said nothing. He just kept watching as Corvius began to circle him.

"Asmodeus, were hiding from me?" He asked again, his patience slowly testing the waters.

"And why would I need to hide from you, Corvius? Did I do something wrong?" Asmodeus asked and Corvius chuckled.

He was not ready for mind games. Perhaps he should just destroy the demon and be done with it. Besides, he
