CHAPTER ONE: THE FALL
The wind blew aggressively, the sky turning darker and the growls sounded everywhere, making the whole scenery look scary.Birds were singing in the dry trees and crickets kept making annoying sounds as they made their way into their hiding places. Among this chaos were beings in white, running with fear on their faces."Kerilua, wait!" A melodious voice sounded in the background but none of the runners waited to listen or look back as everyone tried to outrun another."We are angels, we shouldn't do this!" Another voice resounded but the result was still the same. The fear gripping the hearts of the angels was so much that none of them cared about their status anymore and just wanted to escape. Amid this survival race, a heart-rending screech shook the land, causing everyone to fall on their knees. The angels had their hands on their ears as they looked around, some were wailing while some were trying to fight the power taking over their bodies and some were shivering involuntarily."He is here!" One of the angels screamed as he covered his ears with fear written on his face. The word "He" was something they all knew about and his presence made them fear the worst. Their eyes stung with tears as most of them suddenly lost all hope of survival and just sat there, waiting for their death."We can attack him together. We can do something to him together... There is something we can do." A female angel whispered, thanks to their sensitive ears which were able to pick on her words but without turning to face her, they all hissed and lowered their heads. They knew more than anyone that they weren't a match for him and they would never be a match for him."You all, sinners! Do you think you can escape from the Supreme being like that? It's over for you the moment I catch you, hahaha" A deep mind wrenching voice came from far away and it settled in their souls, shattering the last thread of hope they had in them. The voice was far, so far from them that they knew the owner of the voice was thousands of miles away from them but none of them could stand up to even try to escape before they got to them because the moment they heard his voice, they knew he already caught them and there was no way out for them again."We only have a few minutes to decide. He will get here soon and it will be over for us. We need to do something!" An Angel, who had tried his best to stay silent finally blurted out after he felt death got so close to him.The rest of the angels were still scared and none of them replied to him just as he expected.Minutes later, The sky suddenly turned dark, the leaves that were flying around settled down, and the frogs, birds, crickets and all animals around scurried away, hiding their tails behind their legs but in the middle of this whole ordeal was a ray of light that shone so bright, it was blinding. The angels knew what had come upon them and they all bowed until the light settled down, showing a man in a white garment. He was tall, about 6'5 feet tall with a skin as smooth as silk... He was flawless. What stood out the most about him was his unnaturally handsome face, his perfectly structured nose, his plump full lips and his eyes that kept changing colours with each blink. He was the epitome of beauty and no one would believe in his existence until they saw him up close. The aura he emitted was so powerful it was gripping...He looked at the angels on the ground and shook his head "You should have expected this the moment you decided to run away from the cell. What were you thinking then? You committed horrendous sins and still want to escape punishment?" He questioned as he took a step backwards, his hands that were completely covered by the white garment wrapped around a cane.He wasn't old or to be precise, he didn't look old so probably the cane was just part of his fashion sense but it refused to decrease his perfectly handsome looks in any way. He was strikingly beautiful and dangerous at the same time as he made his way toward the closest angel and stood in front of him."You killed a fellow angel because you were envious. Don't you think you need to be punished?" He asked the angel coldly. The angel nodded, he was already sweating hard as he tried to lower his head as low as he could, "I... I ... should..." He replied."The Supreme being wants you all to return to the prison but I don't think that's the case, because you need to die. You all need to die and I'm killing you right here!" He yelled as he grabbed the neck of the angel and the next second, the angel fell lifeless to the ground, his body turning into ashes as it blew away into nothingness. The angels all panicked, scared and helpless. He was moving toward them and killing them one by one but none of them could stop him until an angel stood up and started laughing, attracting his attention."You caused this to yourself, Kabbus! Even if we were to die here today, you need to die with us because the dead angels left you with a gift. Hahahahaha!" The angel mocked as he continued laughing.Kabbus was confused but that was momentarily as he knew there was no one powerful enough to face or kill him so he wasn't bothered until he felt the air change and before he knew it, he felt a presence behind him.Turning around, he frowned when he saw the Supreme witch behind him "What do you think you are doing here, Orilas? Ain't you scared of death?" Kabbus questioned with a deadly smile on his face as he wrapped his arms around himself.Orilas laughed, she turned to look at the angels who were all cutting their wrists while muttering some incoherent words and her laugh turned hysterical. "Today is the end of you, Kabbus. You lost everything the moment you went against the Supreme being and decided to kill the criminals, so right now, even the Supreme being won't save you."Orilas moved around in circles for a few seconds, her hands on her chest as she closed her eyes gently "It's over for you, Kabbus." She whispered.Kabbus was finding it hard to believe whatever was happening around him as it wasn't his first time killing criminals and the Supreme being never for once turned his back on him before. He was the Supreme being right hand man and it had always been like that so what was going on?He was still on that thought when he felt his body disintegrating and his face turned pale. He tried to stop it but he felt powerless and the last thing he saw was the victorious smile on the face of the Supreme witch and the angels before he closed his eyes in death.CHAPTER 2: HIS REBORN Kabbus saw himself dying and one thing he regretted the most was the fact that he wasn't able to kill the remaining sinful angels and the Supreme witch, Orilas. Orilas wasn't as strong as he was and without the external help she got, Kabbus would have ended her right there. What was surprising to him the most was the fact that he had no idea how they were able to conquer him but one thing was certain and it was the fact that the Supreme being betrayed him. Without the betrayal of the Supreme Being, no one else could have hurt him or killed him that way. "Was he scared? He's been going on about my growth for the past few years and I'm sure I was starting to get as strong as him, was that why he betrayed me?" He asked himself as he tried to figure out where he was but all he could see was darkness. "What's going on? Am I in hell?" He questioned but there was no one to reply to him. Worried, he tried to turn around but he couldn't and just when he was about to
CHAPTER 3:Little Kabbus's eyes fluttered open. He felt weak and strong at the same time but one thing he noticed was that he felt slightly different. It was like there was something in him that had changed but he couldn't pinpoint what it was. "Louis, Louis, are you awake? Do you feel better now?" Wendy, Little Kabbus's earthly mother asked worriedly. Kabbus rolled his eyes and snorted "I felt better until I heard your voice, Wo... Mum. I just need a few seconds to myself." He replied sharply. He looked around and realized he was in a bed in the academic clinic. The last thing he remembered was that he wanted to beat up some kids but he slipped and fell, after that, a voice sounded in his head and that was all, he passed out. "Was that why I fainted? The voice said I'm now a new being, does that mean that I've gotten my powers back or something? Then, why am I still so small?" Little Kabbus was confused. He closed his eyes to picture what had changed in him but he felt nothing
CHAPTER 4: Little Kabbus had no idea what was going on with his body. He felt thirsty all of a sudden and a part of him was drawing him close to the patient they just brought in. "Something is wrong. Something is really wrong. What is wrong with me?" He was scared and confused. This wasn't his plan at all, this wasn't what he wanted. How could he get attracted to an injured person?"Am I about to eat someone up because I'm hungry? What kind of monster am I, then?" Little Kabbus cried inwardly. He forced himself up the bed and sat down on the edge. Staring at the patient was making it harder for him so to prevent that, he decided to look away but his eyes would keep wandering to the patient's side at times. It was frustrating, he hated it and he thought of leaving the room so he could sort out his thoughts but that was when someone spoke up..."Wait for me here, I'm coming." The person who came with the patient said. He seemed to be leaving the room!"Really? Don't stay long. The d
Kabbus was in shock, everything seemed like a dream to him. When he saw the first notification, he thought he was starting to gain his powers as an angel back but what was this? His face turned pale as he was in utter disbelief but the scream of the boy woke him up and he tried to act. He wasn't in his right mind but one thing he knew was that people mustn't see him at that moment or he might get killed as a monster. He turned to look at Tiana and thankfully, she was asleep. To his surprise, she had a very big smile on her face even after what he did to her and that made Kabbus wonder what kind of person she was but more than that, he knew he had to get out of the room. He turned around to look at the crying boy only to find out he had collapsed and a loud grunt escaped from his mouth. He took a few steps forward toward the boy and he saw that he wasn't responding. Having confirmed that, Kabbus escaped from the room and made his way home with red eyes... He was in a big mess. "Lou
CHAPTER 6: Kabbus's heart raced. He looked around in search of what had gone wrong but he could see nothing. Looking at the bodies on the ground, he needed no one to tell him that it was the bodies of the people in his town as he knew a lot of them. "What happened here? Was this done by me? Did I become a monster while sleeping and... did this?" Kabbus panicked but there was no way to confirm and when he looked at his body, apart from the blood that dropped on his shirt when he was injured and Tiana's blood, there was nothing else to see. He was still on this thought when he heard screams coming from very far away from him. He frowned and turned toward the direction, he thought about going there to see what was going on but more than that, he decided to find his earthly parents first. "Are they dead too or did they run away? They will never run away, leaving their only child, would they?" He questioned himself as he tried to think about what must be going on but he was clueless. W
THE FALLEN ANGELCHAPTER 7:"Lucas! You can't leave me like this. You know Louis and I can't leave without you. Please, you have to live!" Wendy cried as she kneeled beside her husband and her child. She was panicking as she was scared. The last thing she wanted was to lose her husband... "Please..." She pleaded more. Lucas looked at Wendy's face and shook his head sadly "I wish to live too..." He said and turned to face Louis "I want to stay with my son too. More than anything... I want to watch him grow up. I want to watch him laugh and play for a long time... I don't want him to see me like this either..." He struggled to say as blood was already dripping from the corner of his mouth. Kabbus knew he was dying already but he was in shock. He saw the notification that popped up in front of him but he was divided. Would his father want to live even if it meant that he would become a vampire? Would he not hate him if he made him a vampire? He had a lot of questions on his mind and i
Kabbus wondered why his parents weren't asking him any questions at the moment even though he was glad it was so as he hadn't prepared an answer yet. He knew he had to say something that would please them or they might send him away or even kill him, calling him a monster. He helped them gather the ones who were still alive and together, they all set out to leave the town he grew up in. Not that he had any great memory of the place anyway and he wasn't in the right mind to miss anything. Just when he thought he wouldn't miss anyone, his mind flashed back to the small boy who saw him in the academy's hospital and his heart raced again. "Maybe he would have gotten killed too. I heard almost all the students were killed and only a few were able to escape. Out of the few that escaped, they are all with us at the moment apart from a girl and looking at the kids, none of them look like that boy, which means he must be dead but why do I feel strange all of a sudden? Could the boy be trou
"Louis!" Wendy was the first to scream when he saw the metal sticking out of her son's stomach. Fear gripped her soul as she quickly rushed forward to save him but she wasn't fast enough. Lucas ran quickly, he grabbed Louis's hand and dragged him toward himself but he still wasn't fast enough as the metal had been pulled out of Kabbus's stomach and there was a big hole in his stomach. Kabbus looked at the hole in his belly but for some reason, he wasn't scared. He raised his head to look at the creature who stabbed him from the back and his anger grew. It was a beast... a humanoid beast but a weak one. Kabbus removed the knife that his father kept in his trousers and ran forward, without making a sound, he stabbed it into the neck of the beast and watched the beast fall to the ground. "It... It stabbed me from behind. It... cheated." That was the last word that came out of his mouth before he fainted but Lucas was quick enough to grab him before he reached the ground. Wendy was a
