CHAPTER 34: BEYOND THE PORTAL

That same evening, the sky got darker, One of the villagers stepped out to see what is becoming of Crestwood, he hears a sound from the hallway, the movement of several men, but from a distance approaching him was a woman, her hair long as the furs from a horse's tail, her steps counted as she walks majestically, a sudden sound bleaks through the hallway, like the whooting of a dove, he turns to check what that could be, and like the flash of light, the woman who was approaching him couldn't be seen anymore.

As the villager cautiously tiptoed through the darkened hallway, the ominous silence pressed against his ears like a heavy shroud. The mysterious woman, who had vanished as quickly as a fleeting dream, left an unsettling air in her wake.

The beam of his torch flickered nervously, casting long, distorted shadows on the walls that seemed to dance with the unseen forces of the night. The villager's heart pounded in his chest, each step echoing in the eerie stillness of Crestwood.
