CHAPTER 84: HEALING WOUNDS

He trekked for about three miles before he saw a building structure, at this time it was already bright; six hours into the day and it was as busy as a marketsquare. He observed and noticed that it was a human territory. He was very thirsty and he needed a drink. He furtively walked to a hut behind and seeing a drum of water, he attempted to take a scoop with his large palms when a lady behind him startled him

‘Your hands maybe dirty, why don't you use a cup so that you don't contaminate the whole drum?’ She said tardily and rather weakly

He turned back slowly and attempted to run away. He knew the humans detested the Giants because after their emancipation, they killed a lot of humans and took the others as slaves. He was’nt strong enough to battle an army of humans and so he flinched when he got caught but he couldn't run as fast as he imagined because of the wound he still suffered from in his leg.
