Chapter 18 - THE BEGINNING OF MY DILEMMA – PRINCE WGHENEO

Everyone stood up jubilation and there was joy, dancing, and shout of joy all over the kingdom and something immediately left the purple crystal and went straight to Evive Kingdom and fell on King Whune’s bed that was already asleep and he knew a new king has been coroneted but he didn’t know who it was whether it is his son Prince Wgheneo or Prince Selem.

King Selem went straight and sat down on the king’s royal sit and the remaining rituals were done and the crown was worn on his head and everyone fell on the faces again and shouted long live King Selem and he waved his two fingers in the air as a sign of peace and they stood up and cheered happily again.

Uncle Hei-Ran came out and asked the beautiful damsels in the feast and palace to come out and dance round the king and let him make his chose of whom he wants to get married too because that was the second reason for this special occasion.

As the musicians started playing and singing, hundreds of beautiful and high class damsels came out and were all dancing in front of the king and trying to please his appetite but he wasn’t satisfied by their appearance because Clara his cousin sisters was already on his mind, he wants to get married to her this time not because of the plans he had with his mother even though that was still in his mind but he was afraid she may have noticed the change of his character or may be aware that his mother killed their parents and the fear of what she or her brother will do if he loses sight of her and her brother Prince Wgheneo was killing him from the inside.

After countless presentations from the beautiful damsels, he stood up and everybody kept quiet and he move around a little bit and said, the beautiful damsels that came out to dance for me did well and are perfect for him but he have decided to marry his own step-sister Clara as the next queen of Khah’s Kingdom because she have found favour in his eyes and he cannot trust any other man to take care of his step-sister for him, so he want to marry her and take care of her himself.

There was silence everywhere as he made this confession, the silence was as if he said something that was forbidden but obviously it was part of their culture and traditions, so after what seem like eternity, his uncle Hei-Ran started clapping, the elders one after the other joined him and all of a sudden the entire kingdom where shouting, singing and dancing again, celebrating his new wife and the next queen as she stepped out.

Princess Clara’s royal apparel was having a golden colour and with thousands of diamonds used in designing it, the apparel was shinning that everyone was in ewe for few minutes and every one’s eyes were on her as she walk gently and silently toward the king.

Her face was bonny like a little bunny and everyone admired her as she walked, she was really a replicate of her mother Queen Doris, people were mouthing as she walked toward the new king Selem, she locked eyes with him and slightly bowed to him in a royal way with her leg slightly crossed as she squat, her right leg crossed forward the other left leg as if she wanted to dance ballet and the noise, shout and singing increased but she never blinked in all the process which made King Selem shiver in fear of what she was planning but tried to cover his anxious feeling.

He took her hands gently, raised her up and kissed the back of her hands and led her to the elders and knelt down before them and they blessed them and conducted their normal cultural rituals for marriage, there was no bride price to be paid she was King Selem’s blood sister and at the same time crowned her queen of Khah’s Kingdom.

After the elders of Khah Kingdom have finished blessing her and the royal crown was place on her head, she stood up with the king and every single person, men, women and children bowed and shouted long live Queen Clara and let your reign be long.

The fireworks were released into the air and the king waved his two fingers in the air and everybody stood up and the Queen Hermosa shouted let the drinking, dancing and fighting competition begin and everywhere were set on fire all over again.

Prince Wgheneo was quiet all through the coronation process because he already knows what will happen, he kept on smiling to everything that King Selem said in his speech and everything being done by their uncle Hei-Ran, he wanted to stop everything that was happening but realizing he has no power to do that and for the fact that he has lost his right of becoming the heir to the throne as another reason why he just decided to give up and follow the breeze as it blows.

He stood up and danced with the people on stage but nothing again was making sense to him, he felt like crying but he do not want King Selem and his mother Queen Hermosa to see him broken, so he kept on smiling as if all things are well. Prince Wgheneo realized he has nothing again to do than just to follow whatever instructions given to him by King Selem.

The only light and hope, he has is the purple crystal in his tummy that he swallowed earlier.

He held unto his tummy and said to himself, this is the only useful thing left in your life right now, even though you can fight your way out but not now that no one will believe in you, so you need to focus and obey all the instruction given to you until God sends a redeemer or makes a way of redemption for me but for now I am better dead than alive but I have this strong feeling that I will one day sit on that throne, so I will try my possible best to remain alive even if it is just for my beloved sister Clara to smile one more time before we dead, I will make sure it happens.
