Chapter 6

"It looks like she's gone …" Howl said.

Everything seemed to calm down after the chatty woman left her house. Close your eyes while lying quietly in the meadow. It's been Howl's routine all the time. Relax with the hundreds of cats he's saved from the streets.

The cats that look healthy, beautiful and clean, Howl takes care of them as best he can. They were given quality food only growing healthy.

This place will not be found by anyone. There will be no one human or creature who can set this sanctuary.

A blue-eyed black cat sits on Howl's stomach.

"Why?" Howl asked.

"She's cured. You don't have to worry." Howl replied.

The cat's voice grew louder in Howl's ear, who finally woke up from sleep with his irritated face.

"You don't see him, she talks a lot. I don't like humans!!" Howl said bitterly.

A creature that is even bigger than a cat, Howl sulks so sulky.

"Meow …! Meow!

"What do you mean?"

Howl's facial expression seemed surprised when he heard the black cat saying that the woman was a human who had saved his life before meeting Howl.

"So, what do you want me to be like? I'm already busy! You don't remember last night? I worked hard to heal my wounds?!" Howl said in an upset tone. However, he still felt unable to see the black cat's facial expression that told him to meet again with a woman named Anna.

The woman may still be in danger after the attack that night. The cursed creature even returned to take out innocent human lives. If left alone, maybe she'll come back to meet the damned creature.

"Huh! You're such a pain in the ass. All right, I'll meet her. Are you satisfied?"

The black cat smiles in his way, then gives Howl a soft nod before he walks away to another cat friend.

Anna was still thinking about what had happened while she was in the woods that night. Her reason is not up to solving a case that is beyond reason. What she had experienced did seem real to her, but this could have been just a hallucination caused by something still ambiguous.

Anna was in one of the hospital's outpatient rooms. After some examination it's true if there's a hard impact on her head. It was possible that everything he saw included a mysterious man and a half-human being was a mirage.

Anna yells while ruffling her hair into a tangle. Her head hurts too much if she keeps thinking about things that don't have answers.

"Senior! Are you okay?" Suho asked as he walked up to Anna carrying a box of chicken ordered by Anna.

"Emm, I'm okay. Students are how? Did you find his identity? What about that woman?" asked Anna, so urgent.

"Senior ... Stop. I'll explain it all, but for now what's more important is senior recovery. I'll explain everything after you get out of the hospital." Suho replied.

Anna immediately hit Suho's back very hard.

"You are, the more annoying the day is. You fool! What about the dead woman? Who is that woman's identity?" Anna asked with a serious look on her face regardless of her current condition.

"Her name is Kang Mona, she's a veterinarian." Suho replied.

"What's the autopsy?" Anna asked back in working mode.

"The autopsy results show the same characteristics as the other victims. So did the students we found in front of the Han River. Huff … I really can't believe how someone kills at close quarters." Suho said.

"His wound? Does the wound look like it was scratched by a wild beast?" asked Anna.

But it again provoked Anna's anger.

"Tell me! Before I put all these chicken bones in your nose!" Anna threatened.

Suho immediately shrinks like a little mouse that meets a cat. Sighs while confirming that his seat has become more polite.

"In the movie scene. There's been some fight between vampire humans and wolves. The injuries they get are almost the same as those of the victims. If a straight line is drawn, then the victim's death is not due to ordinary humans, but to humans of their kind …" said Suho, who felt a little doubt at the end of the sentence he said from his own mouth.

"Believe it or not believe it, I just experienced a mystical thing," Anna said—sighing heavily when her mind came back to the shadows in an unfamiliar place.

"What do you mean, senior? Mystical thing?" Suho asked—confused as he went back to eating chicken.

Suho just shuts up with confusion after hearing Anna's story that sounds absurd.

"Then, it means your head is completely damaged. I have to call a doctor to check your condition," Suho said.

Suddenly Anna rushed to remove the infusion needle attached to her hand. This is not the time to just stand by without doing anything at times like this. Her job is to find evidence on the side of the night he hasn't finished yet. Anna was embellished to return to Mount Jiri and see the scene.

"Where are you going?" Suho asked, confused to see Anna who looked so busy.

Anna immediately gives a cynical look that makes Suho feel intimidated. The look that Suho couldn't do anything. Anna is scarier than Captain Steven.

Suho started walking out of the room to pick up his car. It's really hard to be in his position right now. On the one hand, only the youngest member has to obey every word of senior and also the captain. But in a way he couldn't argue with Anna. Because Anna has a special place for her.
