Lisa was still in her digital construct and with that came the knowledge that he had failed at trying to get her out of it.

So far there was little to nothing that he could do for Lisa in whatever construct she had been trapped in and so far there was little he could do to help himself too.

Con was already away on another one of his missions and this time he had refused to tell anyone what that mission was about.

The little he had said was that he would be back and he had stood up and left.

Aside from that, there was also the fact that his wife had delivered a package right to their doorstep.

The lady Con had been married to while he was Derek Aer had delivered a package containing threats right to his doorstep and what was inside that package had been nothing more than a threat.

Jane had been the one who brought it up and she had been scared at the moment. She was like
