Chp 43 - Recurring Dream
In a dimly lit room lay woman swaddled up to her neck in a thick covering on a narrow bed, she was shivering violently despite how stuffy the room was, the thin curtains were drawn and a gentle breeze blew the fabrics. The breeze did nothing to reduce the room's stuffiness as it was heated, and neither did the heat in the room reduce the shivering f the woman.

It was as if she was untouched by the elements around her as she was shivering so badly that one wouldn’t believe that any human body could survive such a spasm.

The tightly shut door cracked open and a moccasin-clad foot stepped through the crack. A moment passed before a hand showed around the door as the door was pushed open and a little dark-haired boy glanced around the room before fully stepping in.

He stood by the door for a moment to get the lay of the land and a little smile touched his face when he realised that he had not been discovered, nobody was hurrying after him in the hallway nor was there anyone in the room
