Jason shot up in bed, breathing heavily. He was disoriented for a moment as the cobwebbed, drafty hallway was replaced by a pristine, warm-toned VIP bedroom with chandeliers dripping mesmerizingly in the intricately designed p.o.p ceiling. It took him a while to realise the fact that he was no longer in the harsh environments of Hope of Life Orphanage but at The King’s Inn, a five-star hotel in Montreau.
