I watched a blue light come out of my mother and enter his body, making him choke. He smiled wickedly and made sure Martha was dead. He took the capsule and looked at me as I closed my eyes and blood ticked over my body.

I pushed Zoey away and charged at the man. "Don't," Zoey shouted as I was about to land a punch on the strange man.

I looked back at her. "You promised you would help me avenge my parent's death, and here you are not doing anything when the killer is right in front.

The man stood still and looked around. He felt there were people around him, but he couldn't see us. "The moment you touched him, then you would disrupt the balance between the past and the present. I promise to help you avenge your parents, but we have to do it the right way." Zoey replied, bringing me to the present.
