Lucas walked to the train station angrily. He'd gone out of character in the presence of his grandfather and although he felt bad, he couldn't control his anger at that point.

He slouched into the chair and brought out his phone to see that he had missed Emily's call, she'd also dropped a message.

MEET ME AT THE ROOFTOP. The text said. He slid the phone back into his pocket and straightened his shirt. Denver had almost made him lose his mind and he was doing a very bad job at keeping his act together.

When the train got to the terminal, he quickly made his way back to his dormitory to have a cold shower and have a change of clothes. Unlike him, he'd cancel out on going to class for that day. He was already in a really bad mood and he feared he'd break a bone if anyone got on his nerves again.

Lucas made his way to the rooftop, located at the farthest part of the school. Emily was already there by the time he got there. "I'm sorry I kept you waiting," he said. She was sitting on one

Denver ran his fingers through his stylishly rough hair, "I was actually expecting to see Emily ,"Claire scoffed at the mention of Emily's name. On her way to the date, she'd rehearsed her lies and set them in place so she wouldn't be caught unprepared."You mean Emily?" Before Lucas could make a movement out of the location, a gang of boys had gathered already, surrounding him. The old man couldn't just stop calling him a thief even after he had explained to him that the money belonged to him. However, at some point in time, Lucas couldn't blame them. He had not taken his time to think through his actions. He should have known that it was definitely going to be outrageous for an odd looking man like him to display such huge amount of money, even if he was in disguise. No one but him knew he was in disguise as a poor man after all.Soon enough, it looked to him like the old man had filled the gang in with the wrong details. That explained the disapproving and angry stares they gave to him. It was unfortunate that even as he tried to plead with them so he could tell them the truth from the misconception the old man had, they had began to throw blows at him, kicking and slapping him at the same time.Lucas considered their action to be inconsiderate, i

As usual, there was always a plan B.Surprisingly, the first step he took made them take another step back.
