Damian's eyes widened in confusion as he witnessed the intimate scene before him. His mind raced with questions. Why was Veronica, his supposed girlfriend, embracing his enemy, Nathan? What was the nature of their relationship that allowed such a display of affection? He cleared his throat loudly, announcing his presence, and Veronica sprang away from Nathan, her haste only fueling Damian's suspicions. Ruby sluggishly reached over to silent the persistent alarm, which had been ringing every five minutes for the past half hour. She was jolted awake when she saw the time ,it was 7:30 am! "Let's pay the President a visit," Mathew said to his Secretary, his voice firm and decisive. With a swift gesture, the Secretary pressed the button for the tenth floor, their destination.
