Mathew's face was red with rage as he stormed into his office, his calm facade shattered. He unleashed his fury, by throwing everything in his sight. Damian spent the rest of the day walking around and admiring the Company while Ruby was rooted to her desk, drafting his schedules and updating herself with things they had missed while they were away. Damian's eyes widened in confusion as he witnessed the intimate scene before him. His mind raced with questions. Why was Veronica, his supposed girlfriend, embracing his enemy, Nathan? What was the nature of their relationship that allowed such a display of affection?
