“What's the situation outside?" Mathew asked Nathan, who visited him in his cell. Nathan's voice was barely audible, his words laced with despair. "It's terrible. Ruby's wrists were bound behind her back, and she struggled to free herself, but the restraints were too tight. As she looked up, Veronica's giggle sent a chill down her spine.
