Ruby began to pack her things when they got back to their suite. Damian had told her they would be returning to the city the next day since they were done with what they came to do and there were a lot of things he needed to attend to at the company. Ruby stood outside the hotel,her eyes fixed on the departing car till it disappeared into the distance. Though she claimed she doesn't like her boss and whatever kiss they shared was a mistake,she still felt jealous. She felt like a bride who was abandoned on the altar for another woman. With a heavy sigh, she spun on her heels and went to the hotel bar. She had nothing to do in the suite so instead of just staying there alone,she would rather go drinking. “Can I get a drink, please? Spending her Sunday evening eating dinner with Damian made Ruby laugh softly as she got ready for work. A part of her was happy she would be seeing Damian again at work. As she was applying her make-up,her phone rang and she picked the call on the first dial. It was Damian. “Come to my place. I need your help with something here. We will go to work together” his voice was cold and that made Ruby wonder what was wrong with him. “Okay sir” she said and Damian ended the call. She quickly put some finishing touches to her makeup and before leaving the house, hailed a cab to Damian’s house instead of taking her own car. The next weekend came faster than she expected,so she had to go on the trip since she wasn't able to come up with a better excuse. “Yes,I don't have a boyfriend!
