For the rest of Damian's stay at the hospital,Ruby didn't show up to check on him after he had told her to go get a life. A part of him was satisfied that she stopped coming while the other part ached. Damian slowly opened his eyes and stretched his arms, feeling the softness of the sheets surrounding him. He sat up and looked around the luxurious room, taking in the elegance of the furniture and beautiful paintings hanging on the wall.
