Carl had taken his bath, the royal maid gave him new clothes to changeto, he sat on the chair inside the room, which he would be sharing with Jasper. Jasper walked into the room, and he kept looking at Carl suspiciously.

"Why are you looking at me that way? Is that how you treat your guests?" Carl asks.

"And you should get it in your head; you're not my guest; I didn't give you a room; the prince did; there is something about you that is real; I don't know, but it will soon be revealed." Jasper burst up

Carl stood up from his seat and went close to Jasper. He pulled a dagger that was placed on the table and pointed it at Jasper.

"You seem to have hated me without knowing me. That's fine. This is a dagger; take it, kill me now, and throw me out of the window," Carl said.

Carl dropped the dagger at Jasper's feet. He kneeled down and placed his head on Jasper's knee while his hand was at his back. Jasper picked up the dagger, raised it up, dropped it at the table, and took Carl up.
