Selena's holiday ended as soon as possible. She had spent almost a week trying so hard to make sure that she got all the necessary things that she should.

"I'll call you when I get home, I need to sleep for a while."

"Oh, really? That's good. Don't miss me too much." Dominic responded as he hugged her sideways so that she didn't feel very lonely.

She smiled at him softly and decided to walk away. As soon as she walked a few minutes past, she ran back to plant a kiss on his lips with a smile. "I'll miss you. Don't be a stranger, baby."

The pet name made him laugh and a few soldiers stared at him. Seeing him laugh was a big deal to them because it reassured them that he was not going to bite their heads off and was ready to help them.

"Eleanor, make sure that you don't allow anything to happen to her. I will skin you alive." He smiled at her and she knew that he wasn't smiling. He was ready to kill anyone in his way.

"I will, sir."

He watched them go before returning to his trail
