DEFEATING THE APE

Alex took a deep breath and smiled at the angry giant hell thunder ape swinging tree branches at them. The branches had managed to scrape all of them, except Alex that keeps avoiding it like a pro.

"Get the explosive bullets and load it in," Alex instructed, running back with the rest.

"Target its neck and fire!" Alex screamed, shooting out ice bullets towards it.

"Fuck! It has achieved sentience. It can now understand us!" Ikaris cursed, holding his gun steadily while waiting for further orders from Alex.

"Target its belly then, OP!" He ordered coldly, making the ape quickly shield the vulnerable spots on its belly while advancing.
