Alex furrowed his brows while listening to the strange sounds in the distance. He shrugged and continued to eat, trying to regain his energy.

"Boss, what's that?" Ikaris asked in trepidation, turning to Alex.

"I don't know, you can go check if you're that curious," Alex said nonchalantly, still slowly eating his food.

Ikaris immediately shivered, goosebumps spreading on his body.

"Nope, I don't want to go alone," he immediately refuted, quickly stuffing his face with food.

Alex smiled naughtily and continued to eat.

"Whatever it is, we need our energy to fight it. So you all should focus on returning to your top condition within this period of time," Alex whispered, taking huge gulps of water.
