Alex watched the three of them screaming in pain and horror.

"No!! Ariella! Let her go!" Tajana screamed, attacking Shadow.

"No! Go away! I never killed innocent children. I didn't kill you!" Emrys screamed, blood seeping out of his ears and mouth.

The veins on their faces were bulging, and their eyes were wide open with pain and horror as they fought a losing battle against their inner demons, guilt and mental illusions in which they were trapped in.

Alex quickly let go of Ikaris, and he instinctively followed Alex, fearing for his safety.

"Stay back! Do not be a coward! The moment you hesitate or feel afraid in this cave, you die!" Alex roared furiously, making Ikaris freeze at the spot.

"Atlas holding the world!" Alex growled as a mighty spear totally white in color, shining brighter than the sun, with a globe at its blunt end, appeared in his right hands, shaking the foundation of the cave and making the darkness surrounding the area disperse, as if they were afraid of the white l
