Alex shut his eyes in pain as he processed the information.

“What were our men doing? How did gunmen get so close to Food Haven without being detected, you useless punks!” Alex roared angrily, his eyes turning red.

“The guards were stationed within the restaurant and just outside the gates. They were meant to protect the guests as they eat, not people passing along the way. However, the culprits waited till the man came outside the gates to wait for his Uber. They were on motorbikes, making the assault fast. The assailants were also professional snipers and didn't spend more than a few seconds at Food Haven’s gates. It was not the fault of the guards, my lord.” Ikaris whispered, looking at the floor.

“Get the car ready, I'm going to Food Haven. Also, increase the security of CloudSea corporations. Emrys, hurry up and do what I instructed you to do!” Alex roared, and they quickly scurried off to obey his orders.

Hera sighed heavily and walked to him, patting his arm in comfort.
