Change of Hearts

Emily quickly went and held her mother, making her sit on one of the sofas in the room.

“You’ve made your point, Amelia, you’ve broken the heart of your own mother, it’s time for you to go.” Emily frowned, patting her shoulder.

She was way disappointed in her sister for choosing a man over her mother’s wishes.

Amelia felt a sharp pain across her chest, but she didn’t care; she had gone so far that there was no turning back, in fact she didn’t even want to come back.

“Let’s go, Derek.” Amelia ordered, despite the heaviness she was feeling in her chest.

She had no idea when she’d see her mother again, but in order to stay in the wealthy family game, she had to take this difficult decision.

Derek glanced at Sam for a few seconds before turning to leave, only if Sam knew what was coming, he thought.

Sam sighed, watching his step brother and ex girlfriend leave the room; knowing fully well what they were about to do, he was hurting so much deep down because he had no idea how to stop
