Smooth and Easy

Sam stood immediately and caught Emily as she fell, preventing her from hitting her head on the hard floor. She landed on his arms, unconscious; Sam was instantly dumbfounded, she didn’t show any sign of weakness or distress and just in the blink of an eye, she was lying in his arms unconscious.

“Guards!!!” Sam yelled, his voice loud but shaky and his expression covered in despair and confusion. What could be happening? Just two weeks of peace and now another issue had come up, and it looked as if it was life threatening.

It would be so heartbreaking if the woman he was trying all his life to protect died beside him without anybody’s intervention.

The guards rushed to where Sam was and helped him carry Emily, “Quickly, to the car, we need to get to the hospital as fast as we can, all of the guards follows me except my butler and one house security guard,” Sam yelled, following behind the men that carried Emily, while the others rushed to fulfill his instructions.

“Why always me!”
