Chapter 8 - Fawn vs Hyena

"You son of a bitch! Are you a psychopath? No, I don't. You're a fucking psychopath," said Richard, who has started to breathe out because he has endured pain all over his body. The anger at Bryant's laughable look at him made Richard unable to hold him back.

Hearing Richard's harsh words made Bryant laugh out loud without any guilt. Watching other people's grief is one of its joys. Poor, shameless people like Richard deserve this kind of treatment.

Within two seconds of Bryant's silence—the look immediately changed so sharply that he looked at Bryant with a black aura so intense, he said, "You rat doesn't know himself. Where is God's Coin?"

Richard grinned a little, saying, "You think I'm gonna give it to you so easily, fuck!"

Bryant laughed again with a human voice that didn't even know who was in front of him. "Do you know what that coin is?" asked Bryant.

"Isn't that just a regular coin? I've sold it, you stupid!!" said Richard, who then laughed contentedly at the sight of Bryant's surprised face who seemed to believe everything he said.

The thugs immediately reacted to the idea of beating Richard back, but Bryant immediately prevented them from raising just one hand, all of which were silent. Bryant grinned  at the attitude of a pathetic man who didn't even realize the limits of his own abilities. The thing Bryant hates so much is getting provoked just because of a pathetic guy like Richard.

Bryant slowly stood up and put his clothes on and said, "Take him!"

Then walk away—get in the car followed by the thugs who immediately carry Richard—get in the car with their hands tied and mouths held in plaster. All cars driving Bryant's luxury cars—leading ahead. Behind his silence, Bryant had a plan to remove Richard's traces that had disturbed his calmness.

As the rain intensified, strong gusts of coastal winds made a violent roar of sea water hit a 30 - foot - high rock cliff, which actually looked like a Gothic cathedral.

A tall rock that curves like a nave with supernatural dimensions, above the turbulent sea level. Richard was standing on the edge of a cliff with his hands tied tight. In front of him were all the eyes of the bullets that had fallen on him and behind him the sea was ready to swallow his body.

Like a little deer surrounded by hyenas. The fear attached made Richard's whole body tremble. Several times it almost slipped because of a gust of wind that shook his wounded body. His life is now on the cutting edge.

Suddenly Bryant appeared from behind—walking casually standing in front of the hyenas, saying, "How do you realize the difference between me and your weak self?"

"You think I'm stupid with only this fake gold!" Bryant said while throwing a fake gold coin he found in Richard's jacket pocket while on the way.

Bryant's anger intensified as he was played by humans who had nothing. Her pride is like being doused in dirty animal water.

"You've been wrong to face me, Richard."

Of course Richard has other plans in his brain. Richard had already calculated that eventually he would die at Bryant's hands. But one thing Bryant didn't realize was that everything that happened was the original plan that Richard was thinking about on his way to Spain.

All of Bryant's coincidences seemed to complement his plan to perfect God's Coin already in his body. The reason why he chose Spain was because it became a ritual to activate God's Coin.

Mr. Nakamaru said before he managed to escape through a secret door, if a beach in Galicia, named Praia das Catedrais Beach, "When the forces of the sea unite with patience the result is a work of art." A covenant once made by the gods in which the sea is a sheet of contract between the gods and the chosen man.

Richard didn't expect Bryant to have been unknowingly caught up in the plan to come to this place. Seeing this situation made Richard laugh with complete satisfaction.

"Why are you laughing!!" Bryant snapped, pulling out a gun directly at Richard, who then fell silent.

"Coin it, it's still on me. Stupid!" said Richard back laughing.

DWARR!!!

"AH!"

Suddenly one shot came out of Richard's right thigh.

Bryant was fed up with Richard's lack of fear. A smile is satisfied to see Richard kneeling in pain before him.

"Why? Does it hurt? It's really just the beginning. Come on, this isn't fun. …!" Bryant said.

Richard asked Richard, who was sick of Bryant's disgusting behavior, who became increasingly clear that he was just a psychopath who considered other people's lives worthless.

"If the man is like himself, of course. You're just rubbish! Even for the family, asshole!" Bryant said in an irritating tone of voice.

Bryant's calm and sharp style of speaking, however, when he was upset, his gaze turned 180 degrees and gave rise to an aura that would leave no one near him. Bryant's way of intimidating his enemies.

Hearing Bryant's words mentioning 'Family', Richard recalls a sudden divorce and disappearance of Sarah and Naomi with a broken house. Richard was prejudiced that perhaps Bryant had done something bad to his wife and daughter.

"What have you done to my family, asshole!" cried Richard, who couldn't help being angry if something bad happened to his family.

Bryant laughed slyly — laughing at Richard's anger.

"I don't know, I don't guarantee the safety of two members of your family. What's the little girl's name? Naomi? Haha …" Bryant said he was satisfied, but within a second his face turned to look sharp—close to Richard.

The ever-increasing wave of waves hit the cliff—a high splash of water. The sky is getting dark with drizzling rain that makes it all gripping. Despite the fear, Bryant continued to walk— forcing Richard to step back toward the end of the cliff.

Maybe just one more step to Richard's death, Bryant doesn't want his death to be boring. Of course there has to be a game. Bryant remained silent for a while, only staring at the despair, fear and anger that was in Richard's eyes.

"Do you know how much the coin is worth over hundreds of lives? So now I ask you one more time? Where is the gold coin?" Bryant asked in a calm tone.

"Why do you want it so bad? Do you even have it all? Why? Who do you want to switch lives with? You just have greed, Bryant. Don't expect you to get that coin back!" Richard said in response with a threat.

"You want to do the same thing, don't you? Do you need money? I'll give it to you! I can even make you rich. So, give me the coin as long as I ask nicely, okay?" Bryant said.

Richard slowly approached Bryant's face, whispering, "I swallowed it, you stupid!"

Richard turned his face back—looking at Bryant's surprised face and said, "You don't even know how to activate the coin, do you? But I know, you idiot!"

Bryant could only clasp his hands, holding back the resentment that he was again humiliated by the fact that Richard was aware of his weaknesses.

"You're wrong to kill the grandfather of the tavern. That guy's no ordinary man like us, he knows all about the coin god you've been looking for for 10 years. Richard said, "I am the one who is destined to be the owner of God's Coin."

"Fate? Are you sure you can take that fate?" Bryant asked.
