Chapter 100: Bring Jayson Back

The prison guard clenched his teeth, frustration etched across his face. He eagerly anticipated the arrival of daybreak when he could finally switch duty posts and escape the current predicament.

"Fine! I'll take you to the bathing area," the guard reluctantly agreed, his tone filled with gloom.

"And make sure you bring me clean clothes. The ones I'm wearing are already filthy," Jayson asserted with a serious expression.

The guard's face contorted, his voice turning bitter. "You're pushing your luck, trash! Where am I supposed to find suitable attire for you?"

Jayson shrugged indifferently, his response laced with nonchalance. "If you can't provide for the basic needs of prisoners, maybe you shouldn't be imprisoning people in the first place."
