VICTOR'S ANGER

Victor observed the agony stricken men with an air of detachment, devoid of any semblance of sympathy.

His eyes shifted, fixing on Zion, and he issued a commanding order, "Make them talk." Following this directive, he redirected his focus towards Diana and Inid.

His initial instinct was to ensure Diana's well being, and as he inspected her, he breathed a sigh of relief upon confirming her steady breathing. Only then did he turn his attention to Inid.

"Are you alright?" Victor inquired, his concern evident in his voice.

Inid, her gaze a mix of trepidation and confusion, nodded in response.

Trembling slightly, she hesitated before speaking, "Are you Diana's husband, the one often known as 'useless'? Please, forgive my presumption."

Victor, far from taking offense, offered a gracious smile and replied, "Indeed, I am."

Inid's puzzlement was palpable. "But you don't resemble the rumors or behave as they suggest. A useless husband would mind being in danger to protect his wife."
