CHAPTER 169

Sofia held Charle’s hands, and Cassey held his legs as they brought him over to Sofia’s room.

After they put him down on the bed, Cassey was gasping. “He’s much heavier than he looks. I thought my shoulders would break.” She looked at Sofia who wasn’t gasping all that much. (Even though I work a lot more than her every day, why isn’t she exhausted? I’m sure she also bore a significant amount of his body weight.)

“What are you still standing here for?” Sofia coldly looked at Cassey.

“Ah, I’m sorry,” Cassey hurriedly left the room.

Victoria was right outside the room, leaning against the wall, with her arms folded across her chest. “Go to the cottage and tell Narika that Charles came here for a dinner party, and that he ended up entering Sofia’s room together with her. You know how to tell the message so that she’ll feel miserable, right?”
