CHAPTER 197

A few minutes after Marlon left, Charles settled down at his tent. It was getting dark, and the mosquitoes were in the air.

But they didn’t bother Charles, as if they could smell something wrong from him. He tried talking with mosquitoes, wondering if it’d work or not, and to his shock, the mosquitoes aligned in a big mosquito shape.

“No way…” he covered his mouth in astonishment. “Is this my ability to control their minds? I’m able to do it very freely now.”

His ears heard the noise of a vehicle stopped at the entrance.

“Who is it this time?” Charles wondered, and his nose already caught the smell of the person the moment they opened the car’s door. “Laurel?” he hurriedly ran to the back of the tent and hid himself there. “I don’t want to meet her now.”
