Departure Preparations (II)

Alton stayed in his room until the sunset, reading a book; when Alton heard a knock on the door, he straightened up and said, "Come In."

A woman in her late twenties came in with long black hair reaching her waist with a beautiful face, entered the room and looked at Alton. "Young Master, it's time to head to the dining room for dinner."

"Okay" Alton nodded, got up from his chair, and started heading towards the dining room. The dining room was on the ground floor, so Alton turned right and started walking toward the stairs. It was the Teren Family tradition to have dinner with the rest of the family, and once a month, all the sub-branches will be invited to the Teren Mansion for dinner.

This time was just dinner with his family, so Alton was not tense as he walked into the room and saw that his mother and father were already sitting in their seats and looking at him with a smile.

Teren returned a smile. "Good Evening, Mother and Father", Alton said while bowing a bit in respect.

Aldwin and Aria nodded, and then Alton took his seat at the dinner table when Aldwin looked at him. "The family gathering will be held a day before you leave so that you can meet everyone before leaving."

Alton nodded to this without saying anything; he didn't want to meet the other families because he knew they would betray him in the future, but there was one family he wanted to meet. Aria then nodded to the servant in the room, signalling them to bring in the food.

Aldwin, Aria and Alton were served food and then started eating in silence, but now and then, Aria, Aldwin and the rest of the servants were looking at Alton because he was eating in silence when Aria broke; the silence "Alton is your health okay?"

Alton looked up from the plate, gulped the food in his mouth and then looked at her. "Mother, I am fine; why do you think something is wrong?"

Aria then looked at him in a daze when she answered. "No, it must have been my imagination you keep eating." Alton then nodded and then started eating once again.

Aria, Aldwin and the servants had a questioning look on their faces for the same reason, which questioned Maria why Alton was eating the food when he always disliked it.

A smile appeared on Aria and Aldwin's faces, thinking Alton had finally grown up. The family finished the dinner in silence, and when the servants were picking up the plates from in front of them, Aldwin looked at Alton and said, "Alton, I have made the arrangements you will stay in Troy territory, is that okay."

Alton nodded because the system only told him to go north, not specifying that he had to visit a specific territory.

Then Aldwin continued, "I have sent them the message, and they will prepare everything for you; I have asked them to prepare a separate house for you so you can do anything you want."

Alton nodded to this with a smile and replied, "Thank you, Father." Alton knew that his father didn't want to send him there, but now that he is going, his father will ensure he gets everything he needs. Aldwin asked Alton, "Is there anything else you need."

Alton nodded in denial because he had all the things he would need; he looked at his parents with a smile, "Thank you for everything, Mother, Father."

Aldwin and Aria both smiled at him without saying anything to him. After dinner, Alton got up from his chair and went to bed after saying goodbye to his parents.

While laying on the bed, Alton thought of the day and finally sighed that it had passed away. Alton went into a deep slumber.

At the same time, in Earl Troy's mansion.

A magic bird flew towards the Troy Mansion and headed towards the lord's study. The man sensed the magic bird and opened the window, and the bird landed on the red-haired man's arm, which he had raised for it to sit on; the man had a muscular body and an aura that said that this man was a powerful man and he has gone through hardships. The bird disappeared, after sitting,  leaving only an envelope in his hand which had a letter and a gold colour card in it.

A smile appeared on the man's serious face seeing the emblem on the letter, so he opened it and read it; then he pushed a bell on his study table, and a man came in dressed in a black suit with white hair, he had average looks and was aged the person was the butler Edward of Troy family. He immediately went into the room, heard the bell, and bowed respectfully. "Lord Lucas, you called."

Edward looked at his lord and was shocked that his lord Lucas Von Troy had a smile when he was brought back from his daze by Lucas's words.

Lucas looked at Edward; "My friend's son is coming here to stay for a couple of years take this letter and card and get the things on the letter ready all the money for the things is in the card but if it falls short just ask me for money Okay."

Edward nodded and answered, "Okay, my lord" Lucas turned towards the open window, and while looking outside, he said, "Don't let anything go wrong, got it." Edward nodded and then left the room to follow the orders. Lucas, seeing Edward leaving, smiled and said, "For your son, you used the letter bird, which is only used during wars or asking for support and information because of its accuracy and Speed, but you used it for a normal message for your son."

The next day Alton woke up and did his morning routine stayed in the room until the sunset then, had dinner with his family and then went to sleep; just like this, his days passed some time, and he left the room to have tea with his mother or have a talk with his father. It was finally the day before his departure.
